EU Council extends sanctions against Iran for supporting Russia and armed organisations

15/07/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 15 July, the Council of the EU extended its sanctions against Iranian entities and individuals involved in transferring drones to Russia for its war in Ukraine, and in transferring drones or missiles to armed groups and entities undermining peace and security in the Middle East and the Red Sea region (see EUROPE B13421A2).
