28/06/24 (Agence Europe) – In a new publication published on Thursday 27 June, Eurostat indicates that renewable energies will account for 44.7% of the EU's electricity production in 2023, making them the main source of electricity in the EU in 2023. Electricity generated from renewable sources rose by 12.4%, while electricity generated from fossil fuels fell by 19.7%.
