European Commission approves a €500 million Maltese support measure for cultural audiovisual productions

14/06/24 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 14 June, the European Commission announced that it had authorised a Maltese State aid scheme (SA.109768) worth €500 million to support cultural audiovisual productions. The scheme, which will run until 29 October 2028, is intended to contribute to the development of Malta’s film production industry.
