Some fifty businesses and associations call on Belgian Presidency of EU Council to adopt Nature Restoration Law

In a joint letter published on 29 May, more than 50 companies and associations asked the Belgian Presidency of the EU Council to ensure the final adoption of the Nature Restoration Law, which has been blocked since Hungary reversed its position in March(see EUROPE B13378A1).

This request comes just days after a joint letter from 11 Member States, who also want the text to reach a final agreement at the EU ‘Environment’ Council on 17 June (see EUROPE B13409A11).
