The Council of the European Union updated, on Monday 27 May, the list of persons targeted by the EU’s restrictive measures against the Syrian regime and its supporters, in view of the deteriorating situation in Syria.
A total of 316 individuals and 86 entities have had their assets frozen, and EU citizens and companies are prohibited from making funds available to them. Individuals are also subject to a travel ban preventing them from entering or transiting EU territory.
