ACER modifies methodology for calculating electricity intraday flow-based capacity in ‘Core’ region

On Friday 15 March, the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) approved two amendments proposed by the Transmission System Operators (TSOs) to the Intraday Capacity Calculation Methodology in the Core capacity calculation region, which comprises 13 EU Member States.

The amendments aim to align the methodology with the Regional Operational Security Coordination (ROSC) process and to introduce, in addition to flow-based validation, the Available Transfer Capability (ATC)...
