France and Denmark sign a bilateral agreement for transport and cross-border storage of CO2

05/03/24 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 4 March, on the sidelines of the Energy Council in Brussels (see EUROPE B13363A2), the French Minister Delegate for Industry and Energy, Roland Lescure, and the Danish Minister for Energy, Lars Aagaard, signed a letter of intent and a bilateral agreement on the cross-border transport of CO2 for the purposes of permanent geological storage between France and Denmark.
