The head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, met the Chinese foreign affairs minister, Wang Yi, on the margins of the Munich Security Conference on 16 February, according to a press release from the European External Action Service (EEAS).
The two leaders discussed relations between the EU and China, particularly after the bilateral summit in December 2023 (see EUROPE B13309A21), as well as Russia’s war of aggression in Ukraine, the situation in the Middle East and Taiwan.
