MEPs approve agreement allowing eight Seychelles vessels to fish in Mayotte waters

19/02/24 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 19 February, MEPs on the European Parliament’s Committee on Fisheries approved the conclusion of a fisheries agreement allowing eight Seychelles-flagged vessels (purse seiners) to fish in Mayotte waters beyond the 24 nautical mile zone off its coast (see EUROPE B13061A21).
