Member States approve Net-Zero Industry Act (NZIA)

16/02/24 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 16 February, the Committee of Permanent Representatives of the Member States to the EU (‘Coreper’) approved the provisional agreement on the Net-Zero Industry Act (NZIA), reached two weeks earlier (see EUROPE B13344A4, B13351A12). MEPs can now vote on the text in turn. The European Parliament’s Industry Committee will do so on Thursday 22 February, before a vote during the final plenary session of the term in April.
