EU Member States approve agreement with European Parliament on geographical indications

27/11/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 27 November, the delegations within the Special Committee on Agriculture (SCA) approved the text of the agreement between the Community institutions on geographical indications for agricultural products. The SCA has authorised the Spanish Presidency of the EU Council to send a letter to the European Parliament informing it that an agreement at first reading has been reached (see EUROPE B13282A15).
