Kauko Aaltomaa remains head of EUCAP Somalia mission

24/11/23 (Agence Europe) – Finland’s Kauko Aaltomaa has been reappointed head of the European Union Police Capacity Building Mission in Somalia (EUCAP Somalia), according to the legal act published in the Official Journal on 24 November. In post since January 2023, he will remain Head of Mission until 30 April 2024. His mandate was due to end on 31 December 2023 (see EUROPE B13088A33).
