EU inaugurates new trade facilitation mechanism for island of Cyprus

20/11/23 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 20 November, the European Commission inaugurated a support scheme for trade in Cyprus. This ‘Single Window’ aims to facilitate trade across the Green Line that divides the island between the Turkish-controlled part and the Republic of Cyprus. This service is designed to provide information and technical assistance to companies and will be available in Greek, Turkish and English, with a trilingual website.
