‘European Green Party’ calls on ‘Party of European Socialists’ to exclude SMER party

02/10/2023 (Agence Europe) – It is clear that if Robert Fico’s pro-Russian SMER party comes to power in Slovakia, “this will weaken European solidarity with Ukraine”, said the co-chairs of the European Green Party, Mélanie Vogel and Thomas Waitz, in a statement on Monday 2 October.
