According to EU Court of Justice, Denmark may make retention of Danish nationality dependent on existence of an effective connecting link

On Tuesday 5 September, the Court of Justice of the European Union ruled that Denmark could make the retention of Danish nationality conditional on the existence of a genuine link with the country, provided that the person concerned, without any other nationality of another Member State, could have the proportionality of the loss of EU citizenship status examined.
