On Monday 31 July, the European Commission announced that it had approved an Italian aid scheme worth €30 million to meet the liquidity needs of businesses in the agriculture, forestry, fisheries and aquaculture sectors, which are facing the consequences of Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine.
The scheme was approved under the State aid Temporary Crisis and Transition Framework, adopted by the Commission on 9 March 2023 (see EUROPE B13138A1).
