EU Council adopts energy efficiency directive

25/07/23 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 25 July, the EU Council approved the agreement reached with the European Parliament on the revision of the Energy Efficiency Directive (see EUROPE B13139A11), which aims, among other things, to reduce Europe’s overall energy consumption by 11.7% by 2030.
