EU27 adopt a common approach to defining their economic and diplomatic relationship with China

At the European Council on the morning of Friday 30 June, the EU27 discussed relations between the European Union and China. As expected (see EUROPE B13211A3), the Member States have adopted a common approach aimed at ‘de-risking’ concerning dependencies and economic vulnerabilities, without ‘decoupling’ the relationship.
