On Monday 26 June, the Council of the European Union adopted restrictive measures against seven people it deems “responsible for serious human rights violations in Iran”.
They are Seyyed Mohammad Mousvian, a public and revolutionary prosecutor of Isfahan, and Ali Zare Nouri, deputy judge and adviser to the provincial criminal court, responsible for “the trials against the protestors Saleh Mirhashmi, Majid Kazemi and Saeid Yaqoubi”, who were executed in May 2023.
