Commission launches a consultation on its retail investment strategy before Council of EU and European Parliament begin their work

26/05/23 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 25 May, the European Commission opened an eight-week consultation period on its retail investment strategy. This strategy, which was presented by the Commission on 24 May (see EUROPE B13187A21), should help to ensure a high level of confidence for retail investors, increase consumer participation in capital markets and improve market performance.
