Agreement by EU27 on European position for EU/CELAC Summit

Ambassadors of the Member States to the European Union (Coreper) gave the green light, on Friday 26 May, to the position that the EU27 will defend, with a view to drafting the joint declaration to be adopted at the EU/CELAC summit on 17 and 18 July in Brussels (see EUROPE B13182A18).

A European source confirmed that “there is agreement on the text to be sent” to the Latin American partners.
