European Commission adopts draft Memorandum of Understanding to enhance EU/UK regulatory cooperation in financial services

17/05/2023 (Agence Europe) – The Commission adopted on Wednesday 17 May a draft Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) establishing a framework for structured regulatory cooperation in the field of financial services with the UK. Once signed by both parties, this MoU should create an administrative framework for voluntary regulatory cooperation in financial services between the two parties, outside the structures of the Transatlantic Trade Agreement.
