‘anti-migrant walls’, European Parliament rejects Janusz Lewandowski’s report on guidelines for 2024 budget in plenary

On Wednesday 19 April in Strasbourg, the European Parliament decided to reject (210 votes in favour, 321 against and 105 abstentions) the report by Janusz Lewandowski (EPP, Polish) on the guidelines for the 2024 EU budget.

This was due to the adoption, a few minutes earlier (322 votes in favour, 290 against and 20 abstentions) during the vote on the same report, of an amendment (https://aeur.eu/f/6dn) by the EPP group opening the door to EU funding for the construction of anti-migrant...
