European Commission to inaugurate European Centre for Algorithmic Transparency on Tuesday, to help it implement DSA

17/04/2023 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission will launch the European Centre for Algorithmic Transparency (ECAT) on Tuesday 18 April. Located at the Joint Research Centre in Seville, ECAT will, in the context of the Digital Services Act (DSA) (see EUROPE B13064A18), provide the Commission with technical expertise on the algorithmic systems used by the very large online search engines and platforms.
