Qatargate, Eva Kaili to be released from prison with electronic tag

12/04/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 12 April, the Belgian justice system ordered the release from prison and the house arrest with electronic tag of the deposed vice-president of the European Parliament, Eva Kaili. She is the last remaining defendant in the corruption investigation (Qatarargate). Ms Kaili will be released on Friday or Monday at the latest, according to her lawyer, Sven Mary.
