Electricity industry calls on EU to put an end to inframarginal revenue caps, introduced to cope with rising energy prices

06/04/23 (Agence Europe) – Several electricity industry players have called on the European Commission and Member States to end the revenue caps for inframarginal generators (those with the lowest marginal costs) as planned and for these revenues to remain outside the scope of the ongoing electricity market reform, in a joint letter issued on Thursday 6 April.
