€331 million in EU emergency aid to countries in Horn of Africa and Uganda

28/03/23 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 28 March, the European Commission announced some €331 million in humanitarian aid for countries in the Horn of Africa and Uganda, mainly targeting food insecurity and addressing the needs of displaced persons and refugees. This funding will support humanitarian projects in Djibouti (€500,000), Ethiopia (€60.5 million), Kenya (€12.5 million), Somalia (€72 million), South Sudan (€82 million), Sudan (€73 million) and Uganda...
