The European Commission published, on Thursday 23 February, a proposal for a regulation to extend the autonomous trade measures it took in June 2022 against Ukraine (see EUROPE B12965A11, B12940A3). These abolish the tariffs and quotas that still exist for Ukraine’s exports to the EU. The Commission thus proposes to extend until June 2024 the measures expiring in June 2023.
