01/02/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 1 February, Spain’s María José Garde was elected chair of the Code of Conduct Group, the EU Council’s preparatory body on business taxation. She replaces Lyudmila Petkova from Bulgaria, who had chaired the group since 2019. She will take office on Sunday 5 February for 2 years.
