MEPs not convinced about independence of future European Board for Media Services

The European Commission responded on Monday 23 January to questions from the European Parliament’s Culture Committee (CULT) on its proposal for a Media Freedom Act (see EUROPE B13023A1). While there seems to be a consensus on the general objectives of the text, as it stands, it is proving unconvincing.
