Lake Chad Basin, EU mobilises €102.5 million for vulnerable populations

23/01/2023 (Agence Europe) – In response to the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the Lake Chad Basin, the EU is mobilising €102.5 million in emergency aid for the vulnerable populations concerned, the European Commission announced on Monday 23 January at a high-level event on the region in Niamey, Niger.
