20/01/2023 (Agence Europe) – The EU Agency for Criminal Justice Cooperation (Eurojust) dealt with 11,544 cases in 2022, which is a record number, according to its President, Ladislav Hamran. This represents an increase of 14% compared to the 10,105 cases handled in 2021. Hamran said on Friday 20 January that money laundering cases were increasingly present in the work of his agency. An annual report on Eurojust activities in 2022 is expected to be published mid-year. (LM)
