EU Council agrees on $2 billion extension for European Peace Facility for 2023

12/12/2022 (Agence Europe) – The EU Council decided on Monday 12 December to increase the overall financial ceiling of the European Peace Facility (EPF) by €2 billion (in 2018 prices) in 2023, with the possibility of a further increase at a later stage. The total increase in the EPF’s overall financial ceiling until 2027 could amount to €5.5 billion (in 2018 prices), according to the Council.
