Commission consults to prepare new legislative initiative on high-risk chemicals and terrorism

30/11/2022 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission launched a public consultation on Wednesday 30 November on new rules for the marketing and use of high-risk chemicals to prevent terrorist acts. “The risk of misuse of high-risk chemicals is high, not least because they are easy to buy”, the Commission said in a statement. The Commission is therefore working on a proposal to regulate access to high-risk chemicals that could be used by terrorists and other malicious actors. The...
