EU disburses €2.5 billion in macrofinancial assistance to Ukraine

22/11/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday, 22 November, the European Commission disbursed a second instalment of €2.5 billion in preferential loans as part of the €5 billion exceptional macrofinancial assistance package to Ukraine (see EUROPE B13045A12). With this payment, the total aid disbursed to Kyiv since Russia began its armed aggression against the country in February has reached €6.7 billion.
