Freight and passenger transport, MEPs support ‘Dzhambazki’ report on driver qualification and training

22/11/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 22 November, MEPs voted in favour of the report by Angel Dzhambazki (Greens/ECR, Bulgarian) on the initial qualification and periodic training of drivers of certain road vehicles for the carriage of goods or passengers (631 votes in favour, 1 against, 3 abstentions) and thus established their position for future inter-institutional negotiations.
