European Parliament fears fragmented implementation in Member States of ban on forced labour products

Members of the European Parliament’s Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection (IMCO) had a first exchange on Monday 10 October on the proposal for a regulation to ban products made using forced labour from the internal market (see EUROPE B13021A17). The few members who spoke were mainly concerned about potentially fragmented implementation by the competent authorities.
