09/09/2022 (Agence Europe) – Euro area finance ministers did not meet as the board of the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) on Friday 9 September in Prague to decide between the two remaining candidates - Luxembourg’s Pierre Gramegna and Portugal’s João Leão - to replace Klaus Regling at the helm of the euro area’s permanent rescue fund from 7 October (see EUROPE B12990A31).
