Clarification of European Parliament’s request to convene a Convention to reform European treaties

22/06/2022 (Agence Europe) – In the article on the follow-up in the Council of the European Union to the proposals of the Conference on the Future of Europe dated Tuesday 21 June (see EUROPE B12976A21), it should have read: “It was not a question of the EU Council taking an official position in favour of convening a Convention to revise the treaties, as the European Parliament had not made an official request on the matter, according to two national diplomatic sources”.
