Regarding TAP restructuring, European Commission clears slot allocation at Lisbon airport for easyJet

16/06/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 16 June, the European Commission announced that it had ranked easyJet first among the airlines that applied for the portfolio of up to 18 daily slots at Lisbon airport. These are slots currently held by TAP Air Portugal in order to mitigate possible undue distortions of competition resulting from the restructuring aid received from Portugal and authorised by the Commission in December 2021 (see EUROPE B12859A9).
