Vigo-based Agency coordinates EU efforts to control bluefin tuna fishing

30/05/2022 (Agence Europe) – As announced on 26 May, the European Fisheries Control Agency (EFCA) is coordinating control activities in the bluefin tuna fishery under its Joint Deployment Plan (JDP). In this context, EU Member States pool their control and inspection means to jointly implement control, monitoring and surveillance activities.
