EU provides further €45 million in aid to Mozambique’s armed forces

On Thursday 21 April, the Council of the European Union decided to provide a further €45 million in aid to Mozambique’s armed forces under the European Peace Facility.

It therefore adopted a decision amending the aid measures relating to support for these armed forces implemented in November 2021(see EUROPE B12836A23). With this additional support, the overall support of the European Peace Facility to Mozambique has been increased to €89 million.
