Interoperability and ending monopolies at heart of S&D priorities for Data Act

Margrethe Vestager, European Commission Vice-President for a Europe fit for the digital age, had a very brief discussion with members of the European Parliament’s Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) on Thursday 31 March on the future Data Act (see EUROPE B12896A13).

“The time has come to discuss what is needed online. All the work on digital strategy and governance is essential”, said Miapetra Kumpula-Natri (S&D, Finland).
