Disbursement of a new macrofinancial assistance tranche of €289 million to Ukraine

On Friday 18 March, the European Commission disbursed a new tranche of macrofinancial assistance of €289 million to Ukraine, following the €300 million disbursed at the Versailles summit (see EUROPE B12909A6), to enable the Ukrainian state to honour its financial commitments.

This payment is part of the sixth macrofinancial assistance package to Ukraine, which is worth €1.2 billion.
