European Commission approves three new designations from Croatia and Hungary

07/03/22 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 7 March the European Commission announced the addition of three new protected agricultural designations at EU level. These are the Croatian Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) ‘Zagorski štrukli’ (or ‘Zagorski štruklji’), the Croatian Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) ‘Zagorski bagremov med’ and the Hungarian PGI ‘Homokháti őszibarack pálinka’. ‘Zagorski štrukli/štruklji’ are bakery products made in the Zagorje region....
