The EU Council adopted, on Monday 21 February, new sanctions against 22 Myanmar individuals and 4 entities. This is the fourth set of sanctions since 1 February 2021 (see EUROPE B12745A2). The EU is “deeply concerned about the continuing escalation of violence in Myanmar”.
