The European Commission has launched a targeted public consultation on a new approach to retail financial investments from 21 February to 21 March.
The EU institution is preparing a new strategy for retail investment that will aim to develop a comprehensive approach to investor protection.
In a previous consultation conducted in 2021 (see EUROPE B12718A31), many stakeholders called for a simpler, more customer-focused approach to identifying the needs and limitations of retail investors.
