Intellectual property—European Commission opens call for evidence on new framework for standard-essential patents

15/02/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Monday, 14 February, the European Commission opened a call for evidence on a new framework for standard-essential patents (SEPs). This acronym refers to a patent that protects a technology said to be “essential” to a standard.
