EU has donated 380 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine to low- and middle-income countries, says Ursula von der Leyen

Brussels, 06/01/2022 (Agence Europe) – The EU has shared 380 million doses of “safe and effective” Covid-19 vaccines with third countries, “mostly through COVAX”, announced European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, stating on her Twitter account that the EU is “so far the biggest donor” of these products with conditional market authorisation.
