European Medicines Agency will decide “in a few weeks” on use of a booster dose of Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine

22/11/2021 (Agence Europe) – The European Medicines Agency (EMA) announced, on Monday 22 November, that it has started to assess an application for the use of a booster dose of the Covid-19 vaccine developed by Johnson & Johnson - a vaccine currently licenced in the EU for people aged 18 years and over. The European Agency will carry out an accelerated assessment of the data submitted by the manufacturer and is expected to give its opinion “within a few weeks”, it said in a statement...
